Customer Reviews

Golden Years Chicken Dry Dog Food - All Hounder

What Barking Heads & Meowing Heads customers are saying
Customers say this senior dog food is a hit with their aging pets. Many reviews mention dogs eagerly finishing their meals, with the smaller kibble size being particularly suitable for older teeth. Dogs transition easily to this food, and frequent comments highlight how well it suits previously fussy eaters. While some note it's relatively expensive, most find their pets maintain good energy levels and enjoy the taste. The kibble works well both dry and when softened with water.

    Yum 😋

Marsie & Crunchie love their food. They’ve transitioned to this one with ease although not fussy Jack Rascals. They just like good quality food like many of us. I’m delighted with the quality. The pellet size. The delicious smell. The packaging. The delivery timescale. Everything. Looking forward to the possibility of some dog treats being an option to purchase in the near future. Thank you so much. 🐾♥️

Brilliant for sensitive senior tummies (and great value too)

Five stars from both me and Lola!

Lola had been on Orijen Senior for a while, but it was just proving a little too rich for her stomach and giving her runny poos. I did a bit of digging to find something gentler and came across Barking Heads Golden Years.

I transitioned her over slowly using the website's guidelines, and the difference in her digestion has been brilliant... no more tummy troubles at all. She genuinely loves the taste, especially when I add a little hot water and let it sit for a minute to make a gravy. It disappears in seconds!

Finding a dog food that suits her tummy and costs only two-thirds of what we were paying before is a massive win. Couldn't recommend it enough!
